How does it work?
A safeguarding manager will be allocated to your home or service, they will be responsible for:
Investigating any allegations or alerts
Attending strategy meetings
Negotiating with safeguarding coordinators
Liaising with the Police and local authorities
Writing a comprehensive report on their findings
Presenting the findings and outcome at the case conference
